No need to pay for a Santa photo when so many are free

Everybody has lots of extra holiday expenses, but one thing you do NOT have to pay for is photos with Santa Claus.

Yep, hold onto your wallet on this one, because there are plenty of ways to get your Santa photos free, either by taking the photo yourself or even going to some places that will shoot and print it for you.

Here are some of your options:

Bass Pro's "Wonderland" features a first class Santa, who will be on duty daily Dec. 4-22, for photos that the store's elves shoot and print. You can also snap your own pictures of your little ones on Santa's lap. The lines can get long but the store has a "Bass Pass" that will hold your place in line while you browse the store on the really busy days. The Bass Pro Wonderland area also has free games and activities and there are crafts during certain hours. Santa will be available from 10 a.m. - 8 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 10 a.m.- 5 p.m. on Sundays through Dec. 22. Then on Dec. 23, hours are 10 a.m. - 8 p.m. and on Dec. 24., 10 a.m. - 5 p.m. www.basspro.com
